Abstract: Through analysis of the diurnal variation characteristics and annual variation characteristics of the helium concentration released from Wang 3 well in Tianjin, we found that: (1) The diurnal variation ranges of the helium concentration of Wang 3 well are from 0.0012% to 0.0036%, and the diurnal variation ranges are higher in winter than in other seasons; (2) During period of 10:00 am to 18:00 pm, the diurnal variation curve of helium concentration of Wang 3 well is with a “valley type” without obvious peak change. Sometimes the “valley” in diurnal variation curve of the helium concentration does not change significantly, and the diurnal variation of is not a tidal type; (3) The annual variation curve of helium concentration of Wang 3 well appears “double peak-valley” type, in which peaks happens in June and December, and valleys happens in March and September. By analysis of the geological structure, the atmospheric temperature, the water level in the same well, the geothermal resources exploitation surrounding the well, and instrument zero drift factors, we concluded that, the helium concentration of Wang 3 well is not affected by the atmospheric temperature, rainfall, and the same well water level, but is affected mainly by the geological structure and the geothermal resources exploitation surrounding the well. |
